Kiara C. Jackson is an energetic, engaging youth advocate, show producer, pageant coordinator and entertainer. She was a natural born performer; at age three she began taking dance lessons, exposing her to the stage very early in life, which molded her courageous and fearless personality. Her journey began at age 20 when she realized show production was her gift and developed a strong passion for inspiring others. Kiara served as the Director and Producer of her very first Fashion Show in Prince George’s County, MD consisting of young girls between the ages of 9 and 16. This sold out event opened her eyes to a fresh start of entrepreneurship.
In August 2011, Kiara attended Lincoln University in Pennsylvania. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism. Throughout her entire college career, while maintaining academic excellence as an Honorable Deans List student, she held several leadership positions in organizations on-campus. Kiaras’ advanced skills of performing, and stage production allowed her to be recognized as the President of her modeling team and Director of all organizational pageants. Kiara has directed and produced over 10 major shows throughout her undergraduate career.
In 2014, Kiara achieved one of her biggest accomplishments. She competed and won the title of Miss Lincoln University. During her reign, she traveled throughout the states inspiring hundreds of middle and high school students with her platform “B.E.A.U.T.Y” (Being Educated Always Understanding the True You). She was featured on ABC Channel 6 News for dedicating her mentorship and leadership to young women at Universal Daroff Middle School located in Philadelphia. Additionally, Kiara competed in several competitions such as Miss Black & Gold Pageant, HBCU Miss Hall of Fame and Miss CIAA.
Kiara has always been a strong believer in chasing her dreams. She decided that pageantry is a positive way to accept your flaws and embrace your inner beauty, living up to your fullest potential and no one else’s. In 2017, the Miss Gorgeous Prince George’s Teen Pageant was created. She will do whatever it takes to spread knowledge and shed light amongst young women lives.
